POhWER are planting trees as a result of their print This is a Great News Story Face Communications has had the privilege of being a print supplier to POhWER for several years. POhWER is a charitable organization that provides advocacy and support services to individuals experiencing difficulties accessing health and social care services. Their mission is to empower people to have a voice and make a real difference to their lives. Through the printed material placed with Face Communications in 2023, POhWER is responsible for creating an amazing 8.25m2 of brand-new woodland. These trees, planted in The UK by The Woodland Trust, have been calculated to absorb approximately 330 kilos of CO2 over their lifetime. This is the equivalent amount of CO2 produced during the manufacture of the paper used in their printed literature. We want to congratulate POhWER for choosing to offset their CO2 by contributing to the planting of new woodland and, as a by-product, creating new natural habitats for a wide range of animals and plant life. |
